The Hotel Jägerhof has been welcoming both national and international guests with a lot of passion and dedication as a family-run traditional establishment since 1969 (in its second generation).

The Zermatt mountain region and the many opportunities this unique natural landscape offers are our passion. We would be glad to assist you with ideas for excursions. As mountain guides, ski instructors and hunters, we are happy to share our local knowledge with you.

Our three-star hotel can be found in a quiet location 500 metres from the centre of Zermatt. The entire hotel is equipped with free WiFi. You can reach the important points of departure such as the rack railway on the Gornergrat or the new superlative Glacier Ride to the Klein Matterhorn in about 15 minutes on foot or by local bus.

In the evening, you can stop off in our home-style restaurant. We offer a varied 4-course half-board menu daily and also have a small "à la carte" menu. It is important to us to preserve our traditional hotel. However, we bring new pizazz into our hotel through various renovation works and modernisation. Almost all of our rooms are newly furnished with high-quality boxspring beds that provide peace and quiet for your holiday.
